Optional — save as native Google Sheets
File → Save as Google Sheets (or just leave it as imported .xlsx). Both work fine; the native format gets revision history and Apps Script integration.

Why a download instead of a 'Make a copy' link to a public Sheet?
Public Sheets templates require us to host a Google account, embed tracking, or capture your email. Downloading the .xlsx and dragging into your Drive gives the same result without any of that.
Will the formatting survive in Google Sheets?
Yes. Header row, day-of-week labels, column widths, and cell borders convert cleanly. Sheets handles .xlsx imports faithfully.
Can I share the imported Sheet with classmates or coworkers?
